Well done to the juvenile club members who were in action last week for their schools at the West Cork Secondary Schools Cross Country which was held in Dunmanway. Individual medals were won by Sean Lawton who won the 1st year boys race and helped his school Colaiste Pobail Bheanntraí take the team title along with Fionn Harrington who placed 4th overall, and Darragh O’Brien. Ellen Collins was a silver medallist coming in second over the line in the 2nd year girls race & Aoibheann Lawton was a strong winner of the girls 3rd year race. Well done to all. They are all in action again this Friday at the South Munster schools cross country championships which will be held at Riverstick, near Kinsale. Best of luck to all taking part. More info on the fixture here
Our adult group and Fit4Life group meet every Monday and Friday at 5:45 p.m. New members are always welcome in this group. Our new beginner Couch to 5k group who are in good hands being mentored by Mary & Annie are progressing quickly on the walk/jog program.
