Our girls under 15 team put in a brave performance in their 2500m race.  Rebecca Harrington finished in 8th place, Aoibheann Lawton 24th, Ellen Collins 37th and Caoimhe Cotter 41st. The girls were justly rewarded for their efforts in winning the All Ireland Club Team bronze medals.    Rebecca also won an individual medal.  Cork took the silver County team medals and Rebecca, Aoibheann and Ellen were medallists in this category.

Michael Harrington was the last of our athletes to run and he competed in the Masters Mens 7,000m race. A large field of nearly 250 competitors took to the start line,  the course was very muddy at this stage in the day and it was a true test of strength and endurance.  Michael had a great race and won an All Ireland individual bronze medal in the  O.45 category.

Well done to all.
